Shikamaru sits waiting to take his exams. *YAWN* "I hope they don't take too long.", says Shikamaru talking about both whoever is going to give him the exams and the exams themselves.

Fuyuko grins as she walks up to the familiar face. "Well, fancy meeting you here, Shika." She said, crossing her arms and standing in front of him, looking down at him. "Finally getting off your lazy ass and getting a ranking exam in?"

"Hey, listen. It's not like I want to be here alright? But my mom won't let me back in the house until I take a ranking exam. It's been two days since she said that and I'm tired of sleeping outside. So let's do this.", says Shikamaru as he stands up.

Fuyuko snickered a bit, "Your Mum is such a great one." She said, backing up a bit. "Alright...all you have to do is come at me with the intent to kill. Depending on how you fight, I'll give you a rank~" She said, grinning widely. "Bring it."

The intent to kill? Thinks Shikamaru to himself. You've really got to tick off a Nara to get them to that point.

Shikamau reaches into his pocket and pulls out a kunai with an explosive tag attached to it. He throws it at Fuyuko's feet and then slowly walks towards it. He had a little plan already, but he was going to wait and see what Fuyuko did.

Fuyuko grinned, "So, I've just gotta tick you off, eh? Then you'll fight for real?" She asked, mimicking his movements, though moving away from the explosive tag. "I think I can handle pissing you off..."

Shikamaru got as close to the explosion as he dared and used the smoke and light from it to hide that he was using shadow possession jutsu. The shadow darts out of the smoke and towards Fuyuko.

Fuyuko stands her ground, uncaring that his shadow was headed straight for her. A grin splits her face as she quickly throws ten shuriken into the trees, and slams the katana at her side into the ground near her.

Shikamaru catches "Fuyuko" in his shadow possession jutsu. He does a couple of movements. "Something doesn't seem right." he says aloud.

Fuyuko grins, tilting her head, "Now why would you think that, dear Shikamaru~?" She asked, closing her eyes. "Is there something...wrong?"

Shikamaru pulls out a kunai with an exploding from his holster.

((It would longer but I need to know if you have any or not... again, lol.))

"Well frick..." Fuyuko muttered, a bit pissed that she had moved her kunai holster. Taking out a kunai, she frowned a bit. "You might not want to do that..." She said, closing her eyes.

"Or I might. Since not attacking you would also present me with a problem. Like I said, something isn't right."

*Shikamaru throws the kunai with the explosive tag on it at Fuyuko's feet presumably causing Fuyuko to throw her kunai at his feet. ((Correct me if I'm wrong.)) Shikamaru then waits for the tag to get close to where it will blow up and he realeases it at the last possible moment.*

Fuyuko grins as the tag is set to detonate. "Oh Shika-Chan~" She calls from behind Shikamaru, jumping down from a tree and charging at Shikamaru with her katana drawn.

Shikamaru whips around and pulls out a kunai. He attempts to block Fuyuko's attack with it.

Fuyuko holds the katana in one hand, and used the other to yank her puppet out from the smoke and charge at Shikamaru from behind. "Who you going to try and block?"

Shikamaru smirks and a rock falls from where he was standing. Shikamaru isn't visible but a shadow is only a few feet behind Fuyuko and racing towards her.

Fuyuko glances behind her, doing a quick side step to get out of the way as her puppet's mouth opened up, shooting kunai with explosive tags on them towards Shikamaru.
