Hinata stood by a wooden pole as she waited patienly for Kushina to come and rank her. 'I-I have to work hard...so I can catch up to Naruto-kun.' she tells herself in her mind with a new determined look in her eyes.

"Hinata? You for ranking exam?" she asked Hinata as she scratched her head, "lots of genins that's trying to rank up... Oh well, it's fine, I guess" she said to herself smiling.

She nodded. "Y-Yes...if I ever wish to c-catch up to Naruto-kun...I have to rank up to prove t-that I can be strong too...just like he is." she admits with a soft blush.

"Alright, Hinata, try to just show off your skills in front of me" she told Hinata with a gentle look.

She nods before she proceeds to get into her Gentle Fist Stance and closing her eyes. "Byakugan!" she shouted, activating her bloodline. She stared at her, looking at her chakra points and where her chakra flowed.

The chakra was enormous from being a jinchuuriki, "Gentle fist, is powerful from your bloodline, now try to show me your skills, Hinata." with a commanding toned voice, loudly at Hinata.

'Wow, her chakra...it's off the charts!' she thinks in awe. 'But I can't let that stop me!' She nods before she forced some chakra into her palm and she charges at Kushina at full speed with her right palm thrusted out, aiming for Kushina's chest.

"Gentle Fist!" she shouts.

Kushina uses her water and blocks the fist, but attempts to create a crack on the shield, "Nice, Hinata, this shield doesn't can't be even broken by Tsunade-sama" and compliments Hinata, "but will it be enough?" she asked her.

She stared at the shield with a small frown, as if looking right through it. 'She's right...I need more....' she thinks before she closes her eyes again and does a few handsigns.

"Gentle Fist Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists!" Hinata creates two large lion-like shrouds of chakra around her hands, then thrusts them forward at Kushina to try and either throw her off with her quick spinning motion or confuse her.

Kushina jumps back, looking at the motion of the gentle fist technique, Dizzy...° she thought to herself, Kushina throws 3 kunais with explosion tag on it towards 2 meters upon from Hinata. "Explosion" she called out, then the tags explode.

She narrowed her eyes when she saw a few incoming kunai with explosive tags, so she quickly switched her footing and forced some chakra into her feet to jump a good distance away to avoid the explosion.

"A-Ah!" She stumbled back a bit when the tags finally exploded, but managed to keep from falling over. She turned back to Kushina, now back in her Gentle Fist stance.

"Just try a little much better, Hinata" she said to Hinata. Kushina puts her right hand to the back but a little to be seen on the right side of her, she charged enormous chakra in it blasted off the Hinata it was large as a fireball jutsu except it was a beam-kind. "Typhoon Vortex: The Violent Impact" she called out as she blasted it.

Thinking fast, Hinata quickly force a bit of chakra into both her palms, creating sharp chakra blades into both hands and forming wide arcs around herself as her movements became faster, almost a blur.

"Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms!" The chakra beam that Kushina fired at Hinata reflect her chakra blades. Using her careful precision of her byakugan, she aims a few of her chakra blades near Kushina.

"Typhoon Vortex: The Violent Impact!" she called out again creating a bigger one then precisely aims at Hinata with no struggling. "This is the advanced one of it, Hinata" she warned Hinata.

'I-I need more chakra...more!' She moves faster and faster, to the point where her movements become a complete blur as she continued to force back the impact of Kushina's attack by increasing the size of her chakra beams to form a large arc and create a chakra barrier to force the vortex back.

Kushina blasts it to Hinata, but gets reflected coming to her, "Ahh, why would I even thought of it." she sighed, then jumps upwards and avoids the attack. "Congratulations, Hinata" she said applauding for her graduation of a genin status, "You're a chunnin!" she yelled to Hinata.

She quickly slowed down her movements and canceled her jutsu and looked at her in disbelief. "R-Really? Thank you!" she said, smiling widely.

"I-I promise I won't let you d-down Kushina-sensei." she promised.
