Kawarimi No Jutsu - (Body Replacement Jutsu)
This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique.
Bunshin no Jutsu - (Clone Technique)
This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something.
Nawanuke no Jutsu - (Rope Escape Technique)
A basic jutsu taught at the Konoha Ninja Academy, this jutsu allows a ninja to free themselves if they have been tied up.
Henge no Jutsu - (Transformation Technique)
This jutsu allows the user to transform either themselves or another object into the appearance of another person, animal, or object. This is one of the basic jutsu taught at the Konohagakure Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninja know this jutsu.
Moku Bunshin no Jutsu - (Wood Clone Technique)
The Wood Clone Technique simply makes up to a few clones made of wood that emerges from the body of the user. These clones can travel far distances from the user and are able to communicate with the original. Another method is that the clones can turn into special pills that if a person eats, he or she can be tracked down due to the pill being able to sense the chakra in the person's body. As long as the pill can sense the chakra, Nawaki will be able to sense it and track down the person.
Hokage-shiki jijun Jutsu - Kakuan Nitten Suishu - (Hokage-style Sixty-year-old Technique - Kakuan Entering Society with Bliss-bringing Hands)
This technique utilises the power of the Wood Release to forcibly suppress a Tailed beast's chakra. To invoke this technique, it is necessary for the tailed beast or its jinchūriki to be in the possession of the crystal gem, that responds to the Nawaki's chakra. Touching the tailed beast's chakra with their hand, the user then suppresses the chakra inside an area lined with ten wooden pillars.
Mokuton: Jubaku Eisō - (Wood Release: Binding Nest)
This technique lets the user summon a tree around their opponent to bind them. This technique is relatively powerful and holds opponents much more gracefully, with less of a strain on the user, because the user sinks them into the ground. Afterwards, the user can enclose the opponent so that their body implodes.
Mokuton: Henge - (Wood Release: Tranformation)
This jutsu is just like any other Transformation Technique. Nawaki performs the necessary hand seals, then wood emerges and covers his entire body and a puff of smoke or chakra covers up the transformation. Once the jutsu is done, the transformation is complete. It acts more like a costume than a transformation, as Nawaki is able to leave it behind if necessary.
Mokuton: Mokujōheki - (Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall)
An extremely versatile move, this technique uses chakra to activate the roots in the ground and, using Nawaki as a reference point, makes wooden pillars appear from left and right. The wooden pillars join together in a dome-shape with Nawaki at the center. This process can be used to catch the enemy in a double sided attack. Also, in case one confronts the enemy at a short distance, the enemy can be locked up inside the dome, setting the situation for a one-on-one fight. This dome can also be collapsed or burnt with the enemy inside causing damage. Furthermore, it functions as a easy shelter against the enemy's long-distance attacks, like shuriken and kunai.
